CSIRO: STUDY ON CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION POLICIES

Salim led the economics component of a Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) study comparing different possible climate change adaptation policy stances in Australia.

He worked closely with the CSIRO modelling team to generate policy relevant outputs and assess the relative economic merit of adaptation stances for coastal inundation, inland flooding, wind and fire hazards.

Salim was also responsible for writing the Policy Analysis Report.
